Nasal Health

Allergy season peaks in Nashville from February to November. If you’re a Nashville native, you know the plants that make our community special can worsen allergy symptoms. A couple of allergens cause elevated symptoms in Nashville:

  • • Springtime blooms lead to high pollen counts.
  • • Heavy rains in the spring cause a damp, cool environment leading to mold growth.
  • • Grass and trees in the area also release allergens when trimmed or cut.

At Riverside Village Pharmacy, we offer a variety of solutions to help improve your nasal health during allergy season and all year round.

  • • Sneezing
  • • Sore/Irritated Throat
  • • Nasal Congestion
  • • Sinus Pressure

  • • Allegra, Zyrtec, and Benadryl are medications often used to help with common allergy symptoms.
  • • Decongestants, such as Sudafed and Phenylephrine, are great to help with runny noses and leaky sinuses.

  • • We provide topical antihistamine preparations.
  • • Compounded allergy medications can also be an option for patients who react to specific allergens in their prescription or OTC allergy medications.
